The demo takes place in the Citadel Station facility. You find yourself in an abandoned space station, you can explore and look around the area for clues about what has happened to the crew with audio logs sprinkled throughout. Manufactured enemies in the form of security droids and cyborgs are encountered and neutralized.
Each section of the demo is rewarded with a new cyber module, a skill that players can learn and empower their abilities in-game. Players can collect items, store them in their inventory and craft items utilizing resources.
