For the first time since it was announced, a beta version of System Shock Remake is available for download. Originally revealed in 2016, the remake of the classic 1994 action-adventure horror game will soon be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
DESCRIPTION
System Shock is a series of first person sci-fi horror games developed by Looking Glass Studios, first released in 1994. The Remake is being developed by Nightdive Studios and has been in the works for several years. It will feature an updated 3D engine with modern lighting and particle effects, as well as enhanced AI and an updated musical score.
For those who have pre-ordered the game, the Beta includes access to a range of exclusive Beta-only items, including weapon skins, XP boosters, and a unique character model.
The Beta version of System Shock Remake is available now, and the full game release is planned for 2021.
