Purple Pikmin were first released in the Nintendo Wii U game, Pikmin 4. They are the strongest, heaviest and tallest of the Pikmin family, but they’re also the slowest.

You can also find Purple Pikmin in certain spots in the game, such as in caves or around certain objects that can only be moved by Purple Pikmin.
