This game is a story rich exploration platformer featuring an incredible array of challenges for new player and veterans of the genre. Taking place in a new, adorable realm, players take the role of Hornet, a princess-protector of Hallownest with a mysterious new power.
This power, known as the Silent Song, will be almost as important as the ability to traverse the expansive, breathtakingly beautiful world with finesse.

Hornet will be gifted with a ‘Silken Sense,’ giving her the ability to feel and detect enemies and objects even when they cannot be seen. This new power will add layers of strategic combat, as well as be a helpful tool in discovering hidden secrets.
Silksong features a bevy of charmingly gross creatures, all inspired by real-world insects. Enemies will feature a variety of abilities, but something unique to Silksong is the addition of ‘hive-mind’ or ‘swarm’ enemies, where enemies behave in unison to overwhelm the player.
Players can craft their own items from materials collected in the world. These items will give access to new and powerful abilities, invaluable for exploration of Silksong’s largest areas.
