Clifford Cromwell is an important wizarding figure in the popular Harry Potter series. He is the founder of one of the four Great Houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which bears his name as a legacy.
Cromwell was born in the 12th century and lived through the Middle Ages, during which he pursued a passion for magical exploration. He was one of the earliest members of the British magical community, and was responsible for the invention of many new spells and potions.
