Dead Space Chapter 9 Walkthrough

Getting through chapter 9 of the game Dead Space can be difficult, but thankfully with this walkthrough, everyone can make it to the end.

Chapter 9: Desperate Measures

Objective: Escape the Necromorph infested facility

Step 1: Head to the Sector 12 Transit Hub. It’s time to find a way off the station.

Step 2: Head to the tram station in the hallway and activate it. This will help get Isaac to sector 10.

Step 3: Jump into the maintenance ducts, there will be necromorphs in the ducts so be careful!

Step 4: Navigate through the vents, avoiding necromorphs and closed doors. Make sure to collect any items that Isaac encounters.

Step 5: When Isaac reaches the room with the walls shaking, kill the necromorphs that come out and then head to the opposite wall.

Step 6: Once the zero-g area is reached, there will be more necromorphs to fight. Defeat them and then press the blue buttons to the open the elevator.

Step 7: Head through the area with the exploding tanks and head to the tram control room.

Step 8: Once Isaac is in the control room, activate the tram that will take him back to sector 10.

Step 9: Go through the locked door and make it out of the station by activating the emergency escape capsules.

Tips and Tricks:

• Aim for the necromorphs’ weak points to take them down quickly.
• Use kinesis to pull items across the room and collect them quickly.
• Look for Plasma Cylinders that can be used to open locked doors.
• Avoid direct contact with enemy necromorphs as much as possible.
• Utilize stasis shots to freeze enemy necromorphs in place.
