Atomic Heart is an upcoming open-world first-person shooter video game developed by Moscow-based Mundfish.
Set in an alternate version of the Soviet Union during the height of the Cold War in 1938, the main protagonist of Atomic Heart is an ordinary KGB officer, tasked with investigating a facility called Object 826, located in an isolated region of the country. Object 826 is an experimental facility that contains an advanced artificial intelligence known as “Father”. As the game progresses, players explore Object 826 and uncover its secrets.
Atomic Heart features open-world exploration, action-based combat and puzzles. The player takes control of the protagonist and explores the game’s world, completing various missions and puzzles. Combat features a combination of melee, ranged and stealth tactics, with various weapons and equipment available.
